Broken Arrow Police and Bixby Police joined forces Wednesday to crack down on drivers who don't buckle up.
Officers worked the intersection at 111th and Mingo and ticketed every driver who wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
Broken Arrow Police Sgt. Ed Ferguson: "We've been averaging about 30 to 40 contacts per hour, which means about 30 to 40 citations being issued per hour."
73 drivers were ticketed by not wearing their seatbelt by the end of the day.
The crackdown was in conjunction with the national "Click it or ticket" program and Tulsa Police also participated.
