OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Officials from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say some people have been tossing unwanted household items off bridges and onto the Will Rogers Turnpike.
Troopers report 76 incidents that could lead to felony charges. Some of the objects included a small refrigerator, mattress box springs, an air conditioner, rocks and steel barrels.
Officials say a few of the 16 people whose cars were hit suffered minor injuries and some of the items shattered their windshields.
Troopers are still patrolling the Turnpike which stretches from Tulsa to Missouri.
