The wife of a Sapulpa Police officer was killed in a traffic accident Thursday morning.

It happened on US Highway 75 at 181st Street South. Glenpool Police say Cindy McDonald turned in front of an oncoming car. She was killed instantly.

The driver of the other vehicle, Johnny Powell, was taken by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.
We donâ€™t know his condition.
