The Tulsa School board has started interviewing candidates for the soon-to-be-vacant superintendent's job. The first of four candidates was interviewed Monday.
Dr. Sidney "Chip" Zullinger is the former superintendent of Manassas Public Schools, a district of about 6,700 students outside of Washington DC. "I think with all the bumps and bruises that i've had as a school superintendent, the one thing that you can always find in me is that i run school for the kids."
Three more candidates will be interviewed this week.
Current superintendent Dr. David Sawyer retires at the end of June.
