OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An Oklahoma City man is dead after crashing head-on into a truck on Interstate 44 in southwest Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Everado Perez apparently crossed the median into the southbound lanes when he collided with the truck about 12:15 Friday morning.

The truck's fuel tank was punctured and spilled diesel causing officials to shut down southbound lanes for several hours while the spill was cleaned.
