OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma State University officials preparing for President Bush's speech at commencement ceremonies today have decided to stick with their original plans to host the graduation outside.
The state forecast called for showers and thunderstorms this morning, which could force ceremonies into OSU's Gallager-Iba Arena.
Moving commencement indoors would mean that only three of each graduates' 12 guests would be allowed into the facility. Others would have to go into overflow rooms.
Officials have said if the weather is just rain, the university will go ahead with plans to hold the commencement outdoors at the football stadium.
If a thunderstorm breaks out, the event will be held indoors for safety reasons.
