MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities in Muskogee County are investigating the possibility that a body found last week may be that of a missing Broken Arrow woman.

The body of the unidentified Hispanic woman was found in a roadside ditch in southeastern Muskogee County last Thursday.

Sheriff's investigator Tim Brown says police are looking into reports from a Broken Arrow man who reported his wife missing last Thursday.

Brown says the man told police on Friday his wife returned, but officers haven't talked with her.

Brown says it appears the woman died of complications from a miscarriage but the medical examiner's office hasn't issued a ruling on the cause of death.
