OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A Midwest City couple is celebrating the arrival of their quadruplets.
Heidi Peebles gave birth to quadruplets Tuesday morning at OU Medical Center. A hospital spokesman says the one boy and three girls are in fair condition.
Husband and father Daniel Peebles says the infants were born a little earlier than doctors had hoped. Doctors wanted to delay the birth until at least 32 weeks, but the babies were born at 31 weeks and three days.
They ranged in weight from 2 pounds, 6 ounces to 3 pounds, 4 ounces.
It was the first pregnancy for the couple, who have been married almost four years.
