CATOOSA, Okla. (AP) -- A Broken Arrow man dies after an accident on Interstate 44 in Rogers County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 40-year-old John Mark McClain was westbound on I-44 about 2 PM Sunday when his vehicle ran off the highway to the right because of an unspecified medical emergency.

McClain's vehicle struck a ditch and went airborne for 118 feet before coming to rest. He was taken to St. John's Hospital in Tulsa where he later died.
