You can buy just about anything from a vending machine, food, drinks and snacks. So why not snacks for your dog?

News on 6 reporter Rick Wells found a young Tulsa entrepreneur who has started a dog snack vending business called Biscuits and Bones.

Kari Bloom is mixing up a batch of her own special home made healthy dog treats, some are peanut butter flavored. He checked out the secret recipe in a book on the counter. Cannot tell you the exact recipe, it's a secre, anyway it's kind of like baking cookies. "Just kind of roll them out, a little bit."

She has three varieties of biscuits, peanut butter, chicken flavored and gingerbread. They have all natural ingredients, no preservatives or added sugar. "We can just put these in the oven."

So where did this idea come from? Well, she figured if toys and jewelry can be sold in vending machines why not dog treats. Kari came up with some recipes and had them approved by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture. "I contacted a couple of stores here in town, Southern Agriculture at 71st and Sheridan and 71 and Lynn Lane. They said yeah, we'll try it out." And people are buying them.
