As Tulsa Police officers were investigated an overnight traffic accident on 11th Street, they scrambled to their vehicles to investigate a call about shots fired. The call led them to a house in east Tulsa.
According to officers, it all started about 12:40 AM Friday when detectives trailing a vehicle saw occupants fire shots at two separate houses. Police followed vehicle to a home at 2nd and Sandusky. The suspects ran into the home and officers surrounded it.
After about an hour and a half, two people inside the home gave themselves up. A pit bull released into the yard was shot in the leg when officers say it tried to attack.
