OKTAHA, Okla. (AP) _ A single-car crash Tuesday near Oktaha claims the life of a 74-year-old McAlester man.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Karl Sauer was northbound on US Highway 69 in Muskogee County when his car ran off the road into the center median and flipped one time before landing in a creek.

Sauer was pronounced dead at the scene.
