For days, investigators have been out at Lake Thunderbird in Cleveland County, to search for answers in a grisly mystery.

Last week, someone found a shoe that had washed up on the beach.

To their surprise and horror, there was still a human foot inside.

No one has been able to determine whether the severed foot belongs to a man or a woman, or if there are any more body parts to find.

Dive teams have been searching an area of the lake, equal to half a football field, trying to look for answers.

The murky water and cool temperatures have been impeding the search.

So far, nothing more has turned up.
