OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State lawmakers are moving ahead with legislation aimed at protecting the identity of Oklahomans.
State Senators have approved a plan making it illegal to sell mobile phone numbers. Web sites often sell those private records for monetary gain.
This bill would also let Oklahomans freeze their credit if they believe their identity has been stolen.
