An elevator malfunction at a downtown Tulsa office building, caused some frightening moments Friday afternoon.

More than 300 employees were evacuated from AT&T building at 5th and Detroit after a report of some type of explosion inside.

Workers watched and waited from a safe distance as firefighters and Tulsa Police shutdown an entire city block.

Crews discovered a blown motor on the 13th floor. Employees were let back in about an hour later after firefighters gave the all clear.
