Tulsa robbery detectives are fed up with a man that is now accused of robbing three different banks in Tulsa. They hope you can make out his face, despite wearing pantyhose over his head. News On 6's crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports the robber has a unique piece of clothing that may also give him away.
Pictures were captured by surveillance cameras at the Bank of the West at 6100 East 51st Street on December 22nd, around 1:00 p.m. The bank was just getting ready to close when the suspect went inside with a semi-automatic pistol.
"He approaches the teller and tells her to put all the big money on the counter. He takes the cash and leaves," said TPD Officer Leland Ashley.
The robber was wearing white gloves and he is suspected to be involved in two other robberies. They hope between that and his facial features, someone can identify him.
"The tellers say he's wearing pantyhose over his face, but his nose is very distinctive so we think someone knows who he is," said Officer Ashley.
Nobody saw a get-away car. The robber is in his 20's and about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds.
