OHP Trooper Accident

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper involved a traffic accident Wednesday morning has been flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.  The accident happened on Cherokee Turnpike near Locust Grove shortly before 9:30 a.m.  The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a vehicle struck the OHP trooper's vehicle.

A victim from the other vehicle involved in the accident was also taken by helicopter to Tulsa.  The name of the OHP trooper and the other victim have not been released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
