Governor Estimates Storm Damage At $200 Million

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Governor Brad Henry is estimating the damage from this week's ice storm at more than $200 million. Meanwhile, State Farm Insurance says it has already taken nearly 6,000 claims and spokesperson John Wiscaver says about 10,000 claims are expected. Farmers Insurance spokesperson Michelle Levy says they have already had more than 5,500 claims.

Meanwhile, State Farm Insurance says it has already taken nearly 6,000 claims and spokesperson John Wiscaver says about 10,000 claims are expected. Farmers Insurance spokesperson Michelle Levy says they have already had more than 5,500 claims.

And state Treasurer Scott Meacham says the storm could affect the state's economy.

Meacham says the storm's main track along Interstate 44 hit where the bulk of the population and the bulk of economic activity is located.
