That also explains why traffic signals are still not working, even though electricity has been restored to adjacent neighborhoods.

The lack of electricity means many stop lights are still dark and that's slowing traffic.

The City of Tulsa says most of the traffic signals are fed off street lights, which are down because of fallen trees. That also explains why traffic signals are still not working, even though electricity has been restored to adjacent neighborhoods.

PSO's top priority is to restore heat to homes. They say they will get the signals powered up after that. Until the signals are back online, those intersections should be treated as four-way stops.
