Spam's Great American Sandwich

Yield:

6 to 8 servings

Ingredients:

1 12 oz. can Spam luncheon meat (cubed) small
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 small tomatoes, peeled and diced
1 C. pasteurized cheese (cubed) small
1/2 C. mayonnaise
1 T. lemon juice
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 pkg. hot dog buns

Directions:

In large bowl, combine Spam, onions, tomatoes and cheese. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic salt and pepper. Mix well, into Spam mixture. Fill each hot dog bun with mixture. Place under broiler oven on "lower level." Broil for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

Can substitute hamburger buns, toasted bread for hot dog buns
