2 each 3 ½ Pound Pork Ribs ½ - 1 cup Barbecue Rub 3-4 each Hickory wood Pieces approximately 3"x3" soaked overnight.
Directions:
Method: Season the pork ribs with the barbecue rub and let them sit for 1-2 hours
In a large pan with a rack place the wood pieces on the bottom and the rack on top of the wood. Cover with aluminum foil and place on a stovetop and turn on the flame. Once it begins to smoke, remove the foil and place the ribs in the pan and cover once again. Turn the heat down low and smoke once again. Remove it from the flame and place in your oven at approximately 250 degrees for 3-4 hours. Once the meat begins to pull away from the bone, the ribs are done. Serve with your favorite barbecue sauce and enjoy.
Barbecue Rub or spice may be purchased at your local grocery store.
