4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (4 oz. each)½ C. maple syrup ¼ C. bourbon ½ C. orange juice 1 T. sage 1 tsp. black pepper ½ tsp. salt ½ tsp. crushed red pepper ¼ tsp. ground red pepper 3 tsp. minced garlic Vegetable oil cooking spray
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except cooking spray in a heavy-duty plastic bag and seal. Marinate in refrigerator at least 8 hours, turning bag occasionally, making sure chicken is thoroughly coated. Remove chicken from bag, reserve marinade. Place marinade in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes or until slightly thick. Spray grill with cooking spray. Place chicken on grill over medium-hot coals. Grill 6-8 minutes on each side or until done, basting frequently with reserved marinade.
