Many aspects of life are “smart” these days. Your phone, your doorbell, your heating system, your garage door. So why not smart pest control?
Anticimex SMART is a whole-house electronic mouse control system that is nothing like what’s on the U.S. market today. You have better things to do than to worry about pest control. That’s our job.
Worldwide, rats and mice spread over 35 diseases. These diseases can be spread to humans directly, through handling of rodents, through contact with rodent feces, urine, or saliva, or through rodent bites. Diseases carried by rodents can also be spread to humans indirectly, through ticks, mites or fleas that have fed on an infected rodent.
A female mouse can have up to 15 litters in one year and can get pregnant again 24 hours after giving birth. For one mouse, the average litter size is 10-12. Mice can start to reproduce at only six weeks of age, so it doesn’t take long for a few mice to create an infestation.
In fact, up to 20% of undetermined fires in the U.S. are believed to be started by rodent damage.
“We had an issue with mice in our kitchen which was right over the garage. We never could tell how the mice were moving about the house, until we got Anticimex SMART.” — Will H.
The original snap trap was invented in 1897, and hasn’t changed all that much, until now! Have a look at the simple three step process to get Anticimex SMART into your New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, or Pennsylvania home.
Step 1: Analyze & Plan
The pest control experts at Viking Pest inspect the home and documentation including blueprints and designs and ask you a series of questions. After a thorough analysis, we then define the unique, optimal set-up based on your situation.
Step 2: Install & Connect
A Viking Pest SMART certified technician will install state-of-the-art, multi-purpose technology around the home.
Step 3: We Service, You Relax
Ongoing service includes physical inspections, the emptying and relocating of traps, and analysis. We act fast when needed — just sit back and relax.
Anticimex SMART technology consists of Smart Connect Minis, Smart Connect Eyes, and Smart Snaps that communicate with each other and back to headquarters. They tell the Pest Control Professionals at Viking Pest where the mouse pressure is high, so they know where to most effectively place the Smart Snaps. And when a Smart Snap is activated, it reports back to our offices so we’ll know to empty and reset it.
With innovative SMART technology from Anticimex, you’ll never even have to think about mice in your NJ, PA, MD or DE home, much less remove one from a DIY electronic or traditional snap trap.
Smart Connect Mini
SMART communication starts with the Smart Connect Mini. It communicates wirelessly via a mesh network (WITHOUT the use of your home Wi-fi or cameras), sending critical information regarding the activity and catches to a data hub located at Viking’s office. The Smart Connect Mini, in conjunction with the Smart Eye Mini and Smart Snap, can connect up to 200 devices throughout a home.
Smart Eye Mini
Smart Eye Mini sensors are waterproof and dustproof devices that can be placed on walls, bait boxes, in attics, under sinks, in crawlspaces, and anywhere else that fits your personal needs. They can detect mice up to 6.5 feet away. Smart Eye Mini has three sensor settings : “on a bait-box,” “short-range” or “long-range”. This provides more reliable data ensuring your home stays pest-free.
Smart Snap
The Smart Snap is both watertight and dustproof and can safely be placed in wet, humid, and dusty environments. It reports when a mouse has been caught. PCPs With this advanced technology, Viking’s Pest Control Professionals can see the exact location of the Smart Snap with a catch, including a timestamp. Smart Snap can also detect if mice are walking through the tunnel without going in the trap. This helps provide an assessment of the infestation-level. The leak-sensor in Smart Snap can notify if water levels are rising. This is especially useful in basements or under the sink. It’s also equipped with a temperature sensor providing valuable data. The battery lifetime of Smart Snap is up to 5 years, almost eliminating the time the device is offline, while the Smart Snap cover ensures customers will not see an unpleasant site.
Anticimex SMART consists of Smart Connect Minis, Smart Connect Eyes, and Smart Snaps, all exchanging information with each other and back to Viking’s central office. The devices determine where the mouse pressure exists, enabling the Smart Snaps to be moved to critical locations. ?When a catch is detected, Viking’s professionals will be notified, and we will make agreements to come and empty the system. ?As our customer, you will never have to think about mice in your home again, much less removing a DIY mouse trap.
