As some businesses prepare to reopen, the City of Skiatook is giving out free face masks starting Wednesday morning to anyone in the city who needs it.

The city said it’ll be offering up to two washable masks per household free of charge.

You can come by Skiatook Fire station number 2 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Wednesday to pick one up.

You’ll need to show a current Skiatook utility bill and an ID matching that account to get your mask; if you already have a mask, you’re asked not to come because they have a limited supply.

The city said this is the second phase of its goal to make sure everyone has a mask before May 1st, which is when the first phase of the Governor’s reopening plan will start.

Firefighters went door to door last week making sure elderly neighbors had a mask.
