Tulsa Police said a man is in jail Thursday morning after leading officers on an overnight high speed chase.
Police said Daniel Price is facing a list of charges including resisting arrest and eluding.
According to authorities, all of this started just before midnight when an officer tried to stop him at the QuikTrip near Admiral and Sheridan. Price backed up, almost hitting the officer and then sped out of the parking lot.
Police said they later saw Price’s car in a nearby neighborhood and he took off before officers could even turn on their lights.
Price eventually crashed his car near Apache and Columbia, got out and ran away, but he was arrested nearby a few minutes later.
"We set up a pretty quick perimeter once the initial collision took place. With the perimeter set up and the helicopter overhead, he was able to direct us right into where the suspect was," Sgt. Jeremy Lawson said.
Officers said Price also had a second degree burglary warrant against him.
This is a developing story.
