UPDATE: Man In Custody In Connection To Shooting Of BA Officer, Police Say

Broken Arrow Police said a man was taken into custody in connection to the shooting of an officer.

Police said Hayden Payne was found at a residence near Cleveland, OK early Monday morning.

Officers said Payne is currently in the Broken Arrow Jail and is facing possible charges of Shooting with Intent to Kill.

Police said Officer Stanton was shot on Sunday and is still in the hospital.

Officers said Stanton is expected to make a full recovery.
