Tulsa Fire Captain Accused Of 2 Bank Robberies, Skiatook Police Say

Skiatook police said a Tulsa fire captain was arrested after he was accused of robbing two banks. Skiatook police said Fire Captain Jerry Brown robbed a bank in March and is suspected of a Sperry bank robbery in early May.

SKIATOOK, Okla. - Skiatook police said a Tulsa fire captain was arrested after he was accused of robbing two banks.

Skiatook police said Fire Captain Jerry Brown robbed Oklahoma Capitol Bank in Skiatook in March and is suspected of robbing Exchange Bank in Sperry in early May.

They said they received several tips from people who know Brown, which helped lead to the arrest.

According to the Tulsa Fire Department, Brown will be placed on administrative leave.
