OSBI Investigating After Remains Found In Latimer County

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating at the request of the Latimer County Sheriff’s Office after skeletal remains were discovered by hunters Saturday morning.

The remains were found in a creek three miles east of Hartshorne on Highway 1. It is believed the remains are of one individual. The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is working with the OSBI to identify the remains.
