BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Broken Arrow Police arrested a woman after they said she attacked a man in a road rage incident.
"It stems basically from a road rage. From an incident involving a traffic collision and it escalates to someone shooting a vehicle," said Broken Arrow Police Officer Chris Walker.
Police said a male victim said he got into an accident with Stephanie Manning Wednesday night near Aspen and Kenosha.
"Follows her after that trying to report it to the police that he had actually hit her vehicle. He was the at-fault driver in the collision," said Walker.
While trying to exchange information, the victim stated to police that Manning hit him and his car with a baseball bat.
The victim told police that Manning then got into her car, backed into his car, drove to an apartment, and got a gun.
The victim told police he followed Manning and said she came outside and shot at his car twice.
Walker said if Manning felt threatened, she should have called police instead of using a gun.
"We take them very serious. If you misuse a firearm in our city you will go to jail," said Walker.
Police arrested Manning and she faces multiple charges.
