Police Identify Man Found With Fatal Head Injury In SW OKC

Police identified the man who died after he was found suffering head injury in southwest Oklahoma City.

Jesus Munoz, 41, of Oklahoma City, died at OU Medical Center after he was found early Thursday at a skate park in the 1700 block of S Robinson Avenue.

About 3:10 a.m., an officer was flagged down in reference to an injured person at the skate park.

Officers initially thought the man was shot but have since said they are unsure how the man suffered a significant head injury.

Homicide detectives are investigating to determine the chain of events that led to Munoz's death.

This is Oklahoma City's 20th homicide in 2020.
