Lanes Closed On 11th Street After Heavy Rains Impact Construction Zone

Lanes are closed on 11th Street between Peoria and Utica in Tulsa because heavy rains washed out part of a construction zone.

A city employee says someone reported how bad the area was getting, so they came out and put out cones blocking off traffic between Trenton and Saint Louis. 

Officials said the contractor will need to come out and fix the street, but it’s not clear when that’ll happen. 

There were several people who had to suddenly reduce their speed to get past this spot, and News On 6 spoke with a woman who said it slightly damaged her car.

You’ll want to plan for detours in this area for the time being.
