The Oklahoma State Board of Education will hold a special meeting using Zoom on Thursday.

The meeting was at 9:30 a.m. with a livestream link available on the Oklahoma Department of Education's Facebook page.

The board's agenda is broad, saying they'll discuss and possibly take action on a request by the Bartesville Public School District to get approve on the flexibility to use textbook funds.

There will also be a presentation and discussion on the Oklahoma Advisory Council on Indian Education's Annual Report.

One of the last thing's the board will do before adjourning will be to discuss a pending investigation concerning Oolagah-Talala Public Schools, but the agenda does not specify what that's concerning.

The board says they will hear public comment during today's meeting, however, you had to have emailed them on Wednesday with what you plan to ask, and they'll only be hearing from the first five people who sent in their information.
