Tulsa Police Search For Suspect After Early-Morning Traffic Stop

Tulsa police are searching for a person they said ran from them at a traffic stop near 31st and Harvard.

Tulsa police said the stop happened around 1 a.m. July 8 when the vehicle the suspect was driving came up stolen.

Police said the driver pulled into a driveway and told officers he was headed to a friend’s house when he made a wrong turn. Officers said when he stepped out of the vehicle he ran away.

Officers said they searched the area on foot and also used a helicopter in efforts to find their suspect.

No arrests have been made yet and suspect information hasn’t been released.
