Tulsa Police Investigating Early-Morning QuikTrip Shooting

Tulsa police are investigating after they said a man was shot following an altercation at a QuikTrip during the early hours of July 9.

The event took place at a location near 11th and Garnett. Officers said surveillance video shows the victim walking across the parking lot to the suspects car after what appeared to be an exchanging of words. Police said after that, the driver shot the man in the chest.

Officers said the victim was transported to a hospital, and they are trying to determine if the two involved knew each other.
