Tulsa Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Tulsa police said a man is dead and a woman is injured after a crash involving a motorcycle near 71st and Mingo.

Tulsa police said the victim was driving a motorcycle very fast when he crashed into a car around 9:30 p.m., July 8.

Police said officers learned about the crash after someone flagged them down while they were eating at a nearby restaurant.

Police said the motorcycle hit the car so hard it caused the driver to lose control and flip the car.

Officers said the motorcycle driver was transported from the scene to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

They said the other victim was a female who was a passenger in the car. Police said she was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

There's no word on the condition of the driver of the car.

Police said they have not released the name of the victim who died because they are still working to notify his family.
