Gathering Place Lays Off 20% Of Furloughed Workers

The Gathering Place announced that they have laid off 20% of their already-furloughed employees.

The Park issued a statement, saying, “Due to the lasting impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to make a very difficult decision concerning our furloughed employees. Of our 106 furloughed employees, 20% were unfortunately laid off today.”

The statement continued and said, “We are devastated by these circumstances and look forward to a time when we will again be able to return to a fully staffed Park and welcome large social gatherings.”
