North Tulsa Community Coalition Launches COVID-19 Awareness Campaign

The North Tulsa Community Coalition has been handing out protective equipment and launching an awareness campaign in hopes of slowing the spread of COVID-19.

Doctors at OU Medicine said research shows people of color in larger cities are more vulnerable to the exposure of COVID-19. Experts said these disparities are due to social status, access to healthcare and economic opportunities.

Coalition members said they want to get ahead of any possible surge in Oklahoma, so they are launching a prevention and awareness campaign.
