Cushing Motorcycle Rider Dies In Collision

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a Cushing man died in a motorcycle collision late Sunday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a Cushing man died in a motorcycle collision late Sunday morning.

The accident took place just after 11 a.m. Sunday one mile west of Catoosa on Interstate 44 eastbound near 177th East Avenue.

45-year-old Charles Radford of Cushing was driving his motorcycle alongside a Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Interstate 44.

Radford's Harley Davidson motorcycle struck the Jeep Wrangler and then a concrete barrier. Radford was pronounced dead at the scene by EMSA.

The two men in the Jeep Wrangler were not injured.
