Muskogee Police Implement Procedure Changes Due To COVID-19

MUSKOGEE, Okla. -

The Muskogee Police Department has made changes in their department because of the pandemic.

Now, if you call Muskogee police and a current member of your household has been traveling, quarantined or displaying signs of respiratory illness, you must notify the dispatcher.

Officers will request to speak with you outside your house when possible and remain 6 feet away.

If you visit the Muskogee Police Department in person, you must wear a mask and show no symptoms of COVID-19.

In a statement, Muskogee police said, “These changes are essential for the protection of our officers, our residents, and to maintain an efficient, effective, and swift law enforcement response.”
