Eskimo Joe's said it will keep its name and mascot after more than 30,000 people responded to the company's survey.
The restaurant made the announcement on social media and said more than 90 percent of responses encouraged them to keep the original branding.
This comes after a petition for Eskimo Joe's to change its name and logo because it claimed the branding was insensitive.

There were also counter- petitions in support of Eskimo Joe's keeping the original name and logo.

"As a company, we pride ourselves on giving our loyal customers what they want, so we currently plan to make no changes to our name or logo," Officials said in the post on August 3rd.
Eskimo Joe's went on to thank everyone that took time to give them feedback on the name and logo.
