The Claremore Public Schools Board of Education unanimously approved to delay the first day of school by one week.
The new start date will be August 27. This new change only affects the start date, not the type of instruction that will be offered.
“The three days originally scheduled for PD are simply not sufficient to prepare for all the changes we will be implementing in the school year,” said Superintendent Brian Frazier. "Our goal is to make sure our staff and our families have the tools, resources, and knowledge to participate in high quality, rigorous education in any situation."
