Tuesday is election day and the polls are now open in 50 counties across Oklahoma.
In Tulsa, voters will make their choice for mayor and some contested city council seats. Perhaps the biggest contest in our area is the race of Tulsa Mayor as G.T. Bynum is up for re-election against several candidates with a lot of talk about that race, election officials say you may see longer lines, especially at peak times.
"The lines could be a little bit longer. You could have some of our precinct officials that are working the polls for the first time simply because we had so many precinct officials that were at a higher risk," said Tulsa County Election Board Secretary Gwen Freeman.
