It’s one step closer to having another man on the moon as NASA conducted a full-scale rocket booster test on Wednesday.
The rocket booster test was for the agency’s Artemis moon program. The ground-shaking test will help clear the way for missions carrying astronauts and cargo to the moon and beyond using NASA’s new Space Launch System.
A piloted mission carrying four astronauts around the moon is planned for 2023, with a moon landing mission by the end of 2024.
