Couple Says They Experienced House Fire, Repeated Crime Since Moving To Tulsa

A North Carolina couple moved to Tulsa two years ago to get closer to family, but they said they’ve experienced hard times since moving, dealing with a fire and even repeated crime.

Luisa Wall said she realizes their situation is rare, but it’s still left them with a bad impression.

Luisa said the dominos began falling for them about a year and a half ago when their Broken Arrow home caught fire when a radio speaker exploded. Luisa said they decided to not rebuild and move to Tulsa. Since then, they've had two attempted break-ins and stolen mail, which led to late fees on their utility and doctor bills.
