Stillwater Cancels Friday Night Game Against Bixby

Stillwater Public Schools has canceled all athletic and extracurricular activities from September 13 through the 19th including its football game against Bixby this Friday.

The district says the decision was made because Payne County is currently in the "Red Level" based on the Oklahoma State Department of Education's School Safety Protocol which is showing 58.17 new cases daily per 100,000 people.. Stillwater Athletics is working to reschedule the game.

Bixby Public Schools says they have arranged to play Stigler instead.
