Students at Pryor High School will switch to distance learning for the rest of the week.
Not only are high school students having to switch to online learning, Friday night’s football game has also been canceled.
District officials have not stated publicly why it is only the high school that is closed or why Pryor's football game at Grove has been canceled on Friday night.
Additionally, all other activities this week have been canceled.
On a Facebook post the district said the school closure only affects the high school meaning elementary and middle school students will still be in the classroom today.
Students will go to Scenario Two Distance Learning until Friday with in-person classes resuming on Monday.
The district said students who don't have internet access are being issued a hot spot to use.
Student schedules are located on the Distance Learning webpage and students are expected to login daily as attendance will be taken for each hour.
