TPS Team Searching For Kids Not Logging On To Virtual Learning

Tulsa Public Schools is organizing teams to help find kids who have not logged on for virtual learning.

The Wayman Tisdale Wellness Team is made up of eight administrators, teachers, nurses and other staff members who are going around trying to find out why kids are not doing their virtual learning.

The team started with more than 100 missing kids in the first week of school and now they are down to six.

Wayman Tisdale principal Elaine Buxton said "We do the usual things like phone calls, emails, school messenger but when we can't reach them we literally have boots on the ground"

The team will continue checking on students who are not logging on as long as TPS is doing virtual learning.
