Two people are in custody after police found a large amount of cocaine in their car.
Tulsa police say around 6pm on Tuesday they saw a truck on the Creek Turnpike that wasn't able to stay in their lane. They say they pulled the truck over and found Jesse Garcia, also known as Jesus Guadeloupe, driving the truck and Nicole Kathryn Burks in the passenger.
Officers say the the two suspects told police they had marijuana in the car and that they had a valid medical marijuana card for it. A Police K9 unit searched the car which led officers to four brick like packages wrapped in plastic. They tested the white powder in the bricks and learned the packages were 4 kilograms of cocaine. The officers also found a large amount of cash in the car as well.
Tulsa Police say Garcia and Burks have been arrested on complaints of trafficking cocaine and possession of drug proceeds.
