We're recognizing veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.
Today, we honor Cloyce Reedy.
Mr. Reedy received a purple heart during his service in World War II.
He was stationed on the Island of Siapan, and we're told he single handedly caught enough fish to feed 500 hungry Marines.
Mr. Reedy continued to serve his country at Tinker Air Force Base and volunteered to help out during the Vietnam War.
He just celebrated his 95th birthday and will celebrate his 74th wedding anniversary to his life long sweetheart, Mildred, in December.
Mr. Reedy, thank you for your service.
