The second day of early in-person voting is happening across Oklahoma, including for voters in Tulsa County at ONEOK Field. The turnout for just the first day has already surpassed the overall total for early voting in the 2016 General Election.
Tulsa County Election Board Secretary Gwen Freeman told News On 6 the first day totals for early voting at ONEOK Field was 4,408. She said they expect to see an increase because Friday’s and Saturday’s are usually the biggest days for early voting turnout.

“Get out here early, bring a book, get ready to wait in line a little but know that it’s worth it,” said Grant Bumgarner, an early voter. “I think everyone out here’s excited to get their vote cast so people want to get it in early.”
Early voting continues Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-2p.m.
